Multi-lepton signatures of vector-like leptons with flavor

Abstract We investigate collider signatures of standard model extensions featuring vector-like leptons and a flavorful scalar sector. Such framework arises naturally within asymptotically safe building, which tames the UV behavior towards Planck scale beyond. focus on values Yukawa couplings masses allow to explain present data muon electron anomalous magnetic moments. Using CMS search based $$77.4 \, \text {fb}^{-1}$$ 77.4 fb - 1 at $$\sqrt{s}=13$$ s = 13 TeV LHC we find that are excluded for below around 300 GeV if they singlets under $$SU(2)_L$$ S U ( 2 ) L , 800 doublets. Exploiting flavor-violating-like decays scalars, design novel null test observables opposite sign flavor invariant masses. These multi-lepton distributions signal new physics extract mass hierarchies in reach near-future searches HL-LHC.
